Initial Comments:
A temporary bed relocation was requested by the facility on November 6, 2023, and was processed on November 14, 2023. The relocation of these beds will affect the following areas effective November 15, 2023:
House 103
Bedroom #1 will decrease from three (3) beds to zero (0) beds.
Bedroom #2 will decrease from two (2) beds to zero (0) beds.
Bedroom #3 will decrease from two (2) beds to zero (0) beds.
Bedroom #4 will decrease from three (3) beds to zero (0) beds.
House 107
Bedroom #1 will increase from zero (0) beds to three (3) beds.
Bedroom #2 will increase from zero (0) beds to three (3) beds.
Bedroom #3 will increase from zero (0) beds to two (2) beds.
Bedroom #4 will increase from zero (0) beds to two (2) beds.
The relocation of these beds is due to a remodeling project. There will be no change to the overall capacity of 89 beds.
The Verland Foundation Inc. Sewickley facility remained in compliance with the requirements of 42 CFR Part 483, Subpart I Regulations for Intermediate Care Facilities. There were no deficiencies.
